Pearl Millet and Cluster Bean Intercropping for Enhancing Fodder Productivity, Profitability and Land Use Efficiency

An experiment was conducted to find out the suitable intercropping combination for pearl millet and cluster bean higher fodder productivity, land use efficiency profitability under Yamuna ravines of Uttar Pradesh, India. Nine treatments were evaluated which includes two treatment sole crop (pearl bean) seven combinations + viz. 1 : 1, 2 2, 3 3. Maximum value total green yield obtained with row ratio; however, it statistically at par 2:1 ratio. Further, maximum phosphorus potassium uptake; LER, MAI, net return benefit cost ratio recorded Thus, found that one (2 1) performed best in terms yield, bean. Bangladesh J.
